Created for the BA P: DP final-year ‘Live@CSM’ performance, this installation explores how memory becomes embedded within everyday environments. Drawing on research into public space and mundanity, the work combines archival home footage and a reclaimed Heras fence to encourage audiences to engage with the histories present within overlooked details.
The film, composed of family recordings, creates a nostalgic atmosphere and is projected onto fabric stretched across the fence. This transforms a familiar urban object into a site of personal and collective reflection making an industrial barrier into a reflective surface.
My work invites audiences to slow down, observe closely, and consider how memories persist within the objects and environments that surround us.
Alongside exhibiting work, I was lead producer for this project
